Full Gauge Controls is founded in a 14m² garage, in the Niterói neighborhood, in Canoas City, RS. The founding members Gobbi and Flávio apply all their know-how from Varig and Petrobrás to keep their products within the requirement standards, perfection, and “aviation quality.” The tireless pursuit of zero defects comes from the German philosophy learned at Varig, embedded in the company culture and ingrained in the employees of the company.

The company begins to grow rapidly and moves into a new headquarters in the same neighborhood. One year later, the property is bought with their own resources.

Full Gauge Controls exhibits for the first time at an air conditioning and refrigeration industry fair, Febrava. At that time, they also make their first export sale. The sale was for a customer in Bolivia, who was visiting the event.

Exports grow at an accelerated pace, and Full Gauge Controls begins to exhibit at international fairs as well. The first one was Siraa, in Argentina. Currently the company is a regular exhibitor in over 20 events every year, including the United Stated, India, Chile, Germany, Mexico, among many others.

Full Gauge Controls arrives in the northern hemisphere for the first time to participate in a business mission during the Hannover Fair, in Germany. The image shows the exact moment when the Varig airplane, carrying the company’s products along with the directors, lands.

The first version of Sitrad software - Data Treatment System - is launched, allowing real-time access to the facilities with Full Gauge Controls instruments through a computer. Since then, it has been constantly updated by our own team and is offered to users free of charge, democratizing the access to automation for businesses of all sizes.

Full Gauge controls celebrates 15 years and announces the construction of a new headquarters, where it has been until today.

Full Gauge Controls exhibits for the first time at the AHR Expo (USA), the largest HVAC-R fair in the world. This was the first major step in conquering the North American market.

Full Gauge Controls was the big winner in the Best Company category (refrigeration equipment) at the Climate Control Award 2013, the award was presented in a ceremony held in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

With increased demand and growing search of the brand’s products in the United States, the company opens its own branch to serve the local market and Canada.
